About us
The YMCA of Brisbane works, from a base of Christian values, to provide opportunities for all people to grow in body, mind and spirit. The services we provide at the YMCA help fund the benevolent arm of our organisation, Y-Care (South East Queensland). Among other benevolent services, Y-Care provides facilities and programs for marginalised and disadvantaged young people in need of help as well a providing affordable accommodation for people who have been without a home.
At the YMCA we provide services to more than 700,000 participants annually. Such services include youth programs, long day childcare, family day care, in home care, outside school hours care, vacation care, limited hours care, a large range of sport and recreation activities, health and fitness, outdoor education, camping, education and accredited training, camping, restaurant and hotel accommodation.

Formed in 1864, the YMCA of Brisbane services over 10,000 members of the community every week and operates programs from over 40 sites in South-East Queensland. The YMCA of Brisbane employs more than 500 staff in various roles and appropriately qualified professional staff are engaged to ensure the maintenance of the highest quality standards.
The YMCA of Brisbane is a customer focused organisation that has the flexibility and a capability to adjust to changing community needs and provides services to more than 700,000 participants annually.
