The artist’s impression above depicts the YMCA’s most recent community recreation facility which is currently being constructed at Bowen Hills.

The Bowen Hills YMCA is a joint initiative of the Queensland Government, YMCA of Brisbane, Brisbane City Council and with the support of the Australian Sports Foundation and the Clem Jones Foundation.

Set on the site of Perry Park, which is the traditional home of Queensland Soccer, the YMCA believes that synergies are apparent for both sport and recreation to co-exist at the park and are grateful for the cooperation of the Brisbane Strikers Football Club.

Facilities will include a Fitness Centre, Group Fitness Studio, Indoor Cycling Studio, Childminding Zone, Gymnastics Training and an Indoor Sports Court.
