The YMCA Queensland Youth Parliament educates, empowers and unites young people to bring about positive social change. This means

• Developing a youth parliament program that is true to the parliamentary system
• Providing a youth forum for young people to share and debate the issues that affect young people across Queensland
• Involving a diverse range of youth members, ensuring that there are as few social, economic or geographic barriers as possible to participation
• Network and support young people across Queensland, to use their skills practically and bring about change on a local and State level
