Programs

Kids Gymnastics

GYM BUBS  -  (15-24 months)

Children attend with a parent/carer for a session of movement based activities with opportunities to explore and develop their physical potential in a fun and safe environment.

GYM TOTS  -  (2 and 3 year olds)

Children attend with a parent or carer for a stimulating movement and play experience with opportunities to explore and develop their physical abilities.

Activities include running, jumping, hopping, hanging, climbing, rolling, balancing and swinging in an increasingly challenging though safe environment.  Also included is basic trampoline safety plus many activities to stimulate fine motor skills and foot/hand/eye co-ordination.

Children benefit by developing self confidence, body awareness and control while laying good foundations of balance, agility and general physical co-ordination.

MINI GYM  -  (4 and 5 year old pre-schoolers)

Similar to Gym Tots with added challenges and children attend without parent participation. Classes last for one hour.GYM KIDZ  -  (5 year old pre-schoolers & prep year students)

Gym Kidz is a fun program focusing on dominant movement patterns and basic motor skill learning.  Children will develop body awareness and self confidence, laying good foundations of balance, agility and general physical co-ordination relevant to all sports.

JUNIOR GYM  -  (5 – 7 year olds)

This program focuses on dominant movement patterns which are the foundations for all sporting activities.  Children are introduced to basic gymnastic and movement skills as well as flexibility and strength.  There are three stages of development on which children are assessed and can progress through at their own pace.

Artistic National Levels Gymnastics
Levels 1 – 3

This is the early stage in the development of gymnastic ability and success.  Children are assessed in the Club at each level before progressing to the next.  Individual competition is available at our Club Championships each year.

Levels 4 – 10

When children reach the higher levels, the difficulty of their work increases and this requires more time to be spent in the pursuit of excellence. Assessment is conducted at external Gymnastics Queensland events enabling progression to the next level.

Individual competition is available at our Club Championships each year as well as invitational competitions, Regional and State Championships.

Development Squads

We conduct special developmental squads for talented children offering them the opportunity to reach a higher standard of gymnastics in a shorter timeframe.  Participation in these squads is by invitation only.
