YMCA Acacia Ridge Youth Centre (The Ridge Community Hub) was developed by the YMCA in 2018 as a shared education and community hub for and with the Acacia Ridge community.

Our Centre offers a range of programs and services to support the local community and provide a safe space for young people to create, collaborate and connect.

Programs & Events

The Ridge Youth Centre holds regular programs and events at our centre based on community interest and need. We are dedicated to creating environments for young people to be heard and safe spaces for them to belong, because we know what's required for them to thrive.

Our purpose-built facilities help us faciliate many young-people-leds programs and initiatives, such as The Grip Student Leadership Conference, Community Movie Night, Amplify Traineeship Program, etc.

We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. That’s why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side by side with our neighbors in our community to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

Facility Hire

The Ridge YMCA is a community centre in the heart of Acacia Ridge. We offer a variety of spaces that can be used for performancses, workshops and gatherings.

Our community hall is located at the front of our building with easy street access the room suits small performances, workshops and events.

Our dance studio has a full mirrored wall, wooden floors, double height roof and air-conditioning, and is perfect for performances, rehearsals and gatherings.

Our community cafe space is perfect for small meeting or a social working space.

Our recording studio is fully equipped with everything you need to create your first demo or work on existing projects.

We also have a range of learning areas that are perfect for small meetings or projects. All our spaces are avalable for long or short-term hire, with onsite parking available. Email reception.acaciaridge@ymcabrisbane or come say hi and check out what The Ridge has to offer.
